We return to the Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking for another interactive experience. This time, in a 1-hour workshop, we will discover a unique art form and prepare a petal fold book with our own thoughts and words.
The petal fold book technique combines book binding with origami to create a book that blooms, or unfolds at it opens. The book has decorative, paper-wrapped, tag-board covers, 8 origami folded pages with a ribbon binding and closure. Here is a sample: Origami Book
Please note, the main location of this event is the Georgia Institute of Technology; this program will be held in the museum galleries & classroom.
