Experience a day of culture, connection, and celebration at the Black Legacy Celebration: “Rooted in Community, Powered by Us.” From engaging performances to immersive exhibits and delicious food, this event is designed to honor our shared history while bringing families together.

Continental Breakfast for TLCC Families: Start your morning with a warm welcome and a complimentary continental breakfast exclusively for TLCC families & VIP ticket holders. A perfect way to gather, connect, and ease into the day’s activities. Plant-based options available.

“Past Forward: Black Business Then & Now” Exhibit: Explore a timeline-style gallery showcasing trailblazers of Black innovation—past and present. This interactive exhibit highlights the evolution of Black-owned businesses and the entrepreneurs shaping the future.

Legacy Lane Marketplace: Stroll through themed marketplace rooms featuring local Black-owned vendors offering handcrafted goods, cultural pieces, and community-centered services. It’s a chance to shop with purpose and support local creators.

Main Stage Production: Be inspired by our live performance, Rooted in Community, Powered by Us, a tribute to historic Black towns and the powerful communities that built and sustained them. Through music, movement, and storytelling, this production shines a spotlight on resilience, creativity, and legacy.

Culinary Square: Following the stage production, the Culinary Square will open with sample-sized tastings of culturally rich foods celebrating Black culture. Guests who would like a more filling option are welcome to pre-order a personal pan pizza from Grand Slam Pizza, a local Black-owned business, and pick it up at the Culinary Square Lunch Window—perfect for refueling and continuing the celebration. • Children under 3 years old are free but must sit on a parent's lap due to limited space.
