Why volunteer?

• Connect Generations — Work alongside fellow volunteers and support learners aged 4–18 during classes, community gatherings, and events.

Volunteer Requirements

• Attend a TLCC Volunteer Zoom with the TLCC Leadership Team

• Age requirement: Adults and High school students (15+)

• Time commitment: Varies by role; listed in each opportunity.

• Submit your background check report. Background checks are required for adults supervising children.

  • Eligible background checks cannot be older than 3 months.

  • The background report must include: ​

    • SSN trace

    • Sex offender registry

    • Global watchlist search

    • National criminal search

    • County criminal search

How to Sign Up

1. Review the available roles below.

2. Click the “Sign-Up” button and fill out a brief form.

3. Once you have signed up for your volunteer role, you will receive an email to attend a volunteer Zoom orientation.

4. Get ready to serve—your schedule and reminders will be emailed.
