Our classes are primarily designed for children ages 6–15+, with a limited selection of classes available for younger learners ages 3–5. We also offer select opportunities for parents and adults to participate, making it a learning experience the whole family can enjoy.

All participating families are required to fulfill volunteer commitments based on their selected partnership or plan.

On-site support happens through our Thursday Teamwork Duties, which take place during co-op class days. Each family with enrolled students is expected to complete three Teamwork slots per semester, helping us keep everything running smoothly while building a strong, collaborative community.

To participate in the Legacy Homeschool Co-op, families can choose one of two options: a Collective Partnership for $200 per year or the Legacy Participant family plan at $175 per semester.

Class tuition typically ranges from $125–$225 per class. Collective Partners receive a $50 discount on each class, making it an excellent value for families planning to enroll in multiple courses.

We currently hold our co-op classes and most cultural events at Towne View Baptist Church in Kennesaw, GA.

While we are grateful for this partnership and the space provided, we are actively seeking a larger facility that will support the growth of our programming and create more opportunities for other homeschool and community groups to thrive alongside us.

Our co-op follows two types of schedules: Community Days and Legacy Days.

Community Days are held on the 1st Thursday of each month, running from 10:00 AM to approximately 2:30 PM.

Legacy Days take place on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th—and occasionally 5th—Thursdays. On these days, the first class begins at 10:00 AM and the final class ends at 3:20 PM, with a dedicated lunch and recess break from 12:05–1:05 PM.

While schedules may occasionally adjust for special events, this reflects a typical co-op day.

This is not a drop-off program. A parent or designated adult must remain on-site for the entire duration of their child’s day. This helps ensure a safe, supportive environment and allows families to stay actively engaged in the co-op experience.

Community Days are a special monthly experience designed to build connection, learning, and fun for the whole family. The day includes age-based Youth Book Clubs featuring developmentally appropriate books, along with a provided snack for each participant.

Families also enjoy rotating one-time workshops for different age groups, with offerings that change each month. A shared lunch and recess period follows, giving everyone time to relax and connect socially.

The day concludes with an Afternoon Collective, where families gather for announcements, celebrate upcoming birthdays, and enjoy a community assembly to wrap up the experience together.

Each Legacy Homeschool Co-op semester is structured around both Community Days and Legacy Days. Community Days take place on the first Thursday of each month, while Legacy Days include nine class sessions held on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th (and occasionally 5th) Thursdays of the semester.

Legacy Participants are only eligible to attend Legacy Days as part of their enrollment plan.
